Repair Terms
These terms apply to repair quotes and repair work carried out by Michelle's Boutique. By submitting a repair quote request or leaving a device for repair, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotes and estimates
- Online and phone quotes are estimates based on the information you provide.
- The final price may change after we inspect the device in person.
- We will contact you before proceeding if the cost differs significantly from the initial quote.
- Part prices shown on our website are for parts only; labour may apply.
2. Your device and data
- Back up your data before handing in any device. We are not responsible for loss of photos, contacts, files, or other data during diagnosis or repair.
- Devices with water damage, prior unauthorised repairs, or non-genuine parts may have limited repair options or no warranty on the work.
- You confirm the device is yours to repair or that you have the owner's permission.
3. Repair work and warranty
- We use reasonable skill and care when repairing your device.
- Where we supply parts and labour, we warrant the repair against defects in workmanship for 30 days from collection, unless stated otherwise at handover.
- Warranty does not cover new damage, liquid damage after repair, software issues, or problems caused by misuse.
- Third-party or customer-supplied parts may carry no warranty from us.
4. Unclaimed devices
Devices not collected within 90 days of notification that repair is complete may be disposed of or sold to recover storage and parts costs, after reasonable attempts to contact you.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair. We are not liable for indirect loss such as loss of business, data, or inconvenience beyond the repair fee paid.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Seychelles law.
6. Photos and personal information
When you submit a repair quote with a photo, you consent to us storing your details and image to process the request, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Payment
Payment is due when you collect your repaired device unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept cash and mobile money.
